Mr. E built two enclosures for our high-bush blueberries. Last week we installed them.
The long sides are basically open. There are two flaps hanging down from the ‘roof’ of the enclosure, one on either side. These flaps act as doors. Mr. E built the frames first, then we carried them out, dug holes for the posts, and set the frames down.
Now the resident deer, chipmunks, and rabbit will have a harder time getting to our blueberries. I have no doubt we’ll lose some, but I hope we’ll be able to harvest most of the berries.
