New Old Art: Home Town

Mr. E got a wonderful print as a belated birthday present. It’s a map of our new home town in 1884. We replaced our New England Apple poster in the hall…

It’s been intriguing to study the print. Some of the roads are still there, but others have changed, disappeared, or born. The previous railway line now accommodates the power line. I love maps, but I don’t much care for them as part of the décor. This is certainly an exception.
