Hadrian’s Wall Adventure

June 29, 2011 § 1 Comment

Mr. E and I spent the past 2 weeks in southern Scotland and northern England. Among other things, we walked the Hadrian’s Wall Path end to end, all 84 miles (135 km) of it. We met friendly people, fauna, and fowl, plus beautiful flora, unpredictable weather, and amazing archaeological remains (Roman and otherwise). Here’s just a small selection of pics.

Unpredictable Weather

Apparently Sycamore Gap, below bottom row, appeared in the Kevin Costner version of Robin Hood, and has since gained the nickname Robin Hood’s Gap.

It was a great trip. Despite the clouds, we both got quite a tan! We’re glad to be home, though.
