Special Dinner: October

Once a month, Mr. E cooks something a little fancier than our regular fare, and I set the table.
This month, we had home-made pumpkin ravioli with herbed butter sauce for starters. For main course we had ham, mashed potato and artichokes. As dessert we had an apple tart with local pick-yourself apples.
I kept the table as simple and unpretentious as the dinner. It was interesting how much of the yellows and oranges in the tablescape was repeated in the food.
I’m looking forward to November’s dinner already!
