New Year, Very Old Kitchen…

First and foremost:

Happy New Year! 🙂

My vacation / hiatus turned out longer than expected. We visited my family and friends in Finland for Christmas and New Year. It was fabulous! (Except for our sleep schedules, which got all wonky.) Unfortunately, along with good cheer, I also caught an airport bug. I’m almost recovered, though, and very happily so.

Now to the very old kitchen. In North Wales, a couple found a Victorian kitchen, untouched for 60 years, in the basement of their home. The kitchen is thought to date back to the 1830s. It’s simply amazing, and of course a fantastic source for historians. Here are a few shots:
