One Wildflower Bouquet for One Decade

Hello again! Our anniversary family get-together was fantastic. The various long-distance visitors arrived and departed without an incident, the food was plentiful and good, the company excellent, and the weather cooperated. You couldn’t ask for more!
For the big day, my younger sister made this beautiful bouquet:
It’s made completely out of wild flowers and grasses from our yard. She must’ve been channeling Amy Merrick, whose arrangements just take my breath away. Take a look at Amy’s wildflower bouquets, for example:
My sister also spotted this sunflower on our front yard:
What a surprise – we hadn’t even noticed! (That’s what you get for having other things on your mind!) Since it was the only one, my sister wanted to preserve it and used other flowers in her bouquet. We appreciate that a lot. It’s one of the joys of building a wildflower garden: you never know what might surprise you.
Unfortunately, the flower’s disappeared since. We suspect a deer came by and ate it. Maybe we’ll have another one next year.
