Monthly Photo: March 2014

You know those photo challenges that ask you to take one photo every month in exactly the same place, with exactly the same subject matter, angle, and all that? I thought it would be a really interesting project, so I decided to do that this year.
I’m taking a picture out of a second floor window towards the woods at midday on the last day of the month, every month, from January 2014 to December 2014. Here’s March 2014:
The January and February photos look almost the same. There’s been a lot of melting since, though, and my beefsteak begonia is blossoming on its south window perch, so spring is definitely on its way. I had high hopes for the March view – I’m so eager to see and feel spring already. (This winter has felt very long and cold.) Unfortunately, this is the fourth day of rain in the row, so it looks grey and miserable. Sigh. Well, I’m sure April will be great. 🙂
